This week was the last Awaken for the semester! It was a great night of worship. We began our worship with several songs. Then we got into the message. Melissa McDuffee talked with us about waiting. There is strength and hope in the waiting. We then had a time of prayer and meditation and closed with one last song. Last Awaken of the Semester

Come and join us tonight for our last Awaken Worship Gathering of the semester. Some of you maybe done with finals or in the midst of finals – either way you could probably use some Awaken tonight. The band will be there in full and Melissa McDuffee will be bringing us a message on patience. We will be in the Baker Building on the campus of Texas Wesleyan University (parking is in the rear). Come and join is for Worship tonight! We start at 8:00pm and we will be in the Baker Building on the campus of Texas Wesleyan University. Tonight we will be talking about patience – and what a great topic to focus on as we approach the end of the semester and we get closer to summer. Awaken: April 25th

Last night was a great night of worship. We began our worship with several songs. After some singing we got into the message. We brought the message together, as we do in our Means of Grace series, talking about Service as a Means of Grace. We talked about what service is, how we serve, where we serve, and why we serve. We also discussed what service looks like in our everyday lives. After the message we had a time of prayer and meditation and closed our worship with a song. Let our service begin! This week prayer that God will provide you with the opportunity to serve – and serve. Come and join us next week for worship – same time. We are down to two more times for worship before the end of the semester. Bring a friend out and we will see you then. Check out the prayer board below.

Means of Grace – Service

This is our last night in our series, “Means of Grace”. Come on out and join us as we talk together about service as a means of grace. We will look at what service is, by sharing the ways we have been served or the ways in which we serve or are serving. We will talk a little on what service can look like in our everyday lives. Come and share with us. Come and worship with us! Bring a friend with you and we will see you at 8:00pm. Awaken: April 18th

Last night at Awaken we had a great time with some acoustic worship. We began our worship with several songs. Then we got right into the message. We are in the middle of our “Means of Grace” series. We are using this time of Lent to look at how we are in relationship and connected to God. Last night we talked about solitude and silence. Solitude is a means of grace. We watched a short video from Rob Bell and then discussed how we find solitude. After we brought the message together we had a time for prayer and meditation and then closed with one last song. Means of Grace – Solitude

Come and join us tonight as we talk about Solitude as a Means of Grace. Solitude can be difficult today. There is always so much going on and many of us are always so busy. Last night at Awaken we had a great time. We gathered together to worship and began our worship with several songs. We are in the middle of our Lenten series on “Means of Grace.” Last night we talked about Fasting as a means of grace. We talked about what fasting is, and some of us shared some stories of times when we were in a fast, and what that looked like and how that played out. It was a good night. I encouraged all of you to try out a fast this week, so I hope you will do that. Come and join us next week for Awaken. See you then.
